Hey Voodoodog, just read your message and thanx for the compements. Im kinda low on confidence and feedback given such as from illustrators such as yourself can only motivate me even more to carry on and gives me hope for the future.

Can I just say that your work is fantastic, its great to see illustrators with keen eyes for detail. Do you sketch and scan your line work?

John, Thanx back at ya'! yes, I do the line work by hand with traditional pen and ink on paper, then scan it at a high resolution, bump up the contrast in Photoshop, turn it to greyscale mode and then place the file into Illustrator. Then I hit live trace/live paint and then color it with simple linear and radial gradients and flat colors. I must keep it somewhat simple as I design for a screenprinting company specializing in apparel.

Thanks a lot. I am very new and trying to do better. But yours are much more admirable. Lots of staff in each of your work. Need creative imagination to put each onto the right position. Just have a question. Some artworks..... look like just press-in one button and change the raster image to vector at one time. Or I am still young in this field and maybe there are certain skill need to do line, fill, gradient, mesh what so ever so the work are almost like the life images. May be they are very expert. Anyway yours are very beautiful.
